Who is Finger’s Upholstery?

Allow me to introduce myself! I am Robert W. Finger, Married to Nancy we have 2 children, Michael, 26 and Sam, 6. 

Born in 1956, raised in Honeoye Falls, NY. I Majored in Industrial Arts while in High School and again then at RIT. In 1978 I studied Upholstery Manufacturing at Catawba Technical Institute in Hickory, North Carolina until 1980.

Employed by other shops in the area I quickly decided to go it alone to allow me to focus on the details that so many in the business thought were a waste of time. That continued philosophy has served my business and my customers very well.

Since 1982 I have been self employed operating my business as Finger’s Upholstery in Cheshire NY.

While I have a variety of assistance at the shop, I largely operate my business on my own. To this end, work flow is kept at a rate that allows that every piece to be completed just the way you and I planned it from the beginning. You get what you pay for and a personal guarantee that if you have questions, I will be there to address your concerns.

Many of our customers have become good friends and repeatedly look to my business to solve their recovery and repair needs.
